Where to find the best Second-HandThere are many places that you can find second-hand items, charity shops are make a great sustainable shopping alternative. Boot fairs are very popular and are a great place to find a bargain.
Vintage kilo sales are also great, you can get bags of preloved clothes at bargain prices - all charged by the kilogram!
Websites like freecycle are also a great resource, users can upload free stuff to give away and register to find freebies in their local area.
Why Second-Hand September?Buying something new can generate waste, which has a huge impact on climate change as it can drive emissions up. 'Fast fashion' is one factor contributing to rising emissions as clothing and textiles continue enter the waste system. Reusing and recycling clothing is best and will help to reduce these impacts.
